In my expert opinion, Trump Hollwood is one of the most luxurious and service oriented buildings on the sand.  Trump Hollwood is centrally located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach so you have the best of both worlds.  It is always a pleasure to show there as I feel like I am at a five star resort and do not want to leave.   My personal favorite units at Trump Hollywood are the Sky Residences which are the corner units located from the 36th floor to the 40th floor.  They would be the SR02 which is on the North corner and the SR05 which is on the South corner.  In Trump Hollywood, even though both corners have spectacular, panoramic views, the North corner really stands out with the most exquisite views to the North, East, South and West. The quality of the units at Trump Hollywood is what really stands out above the rest.  Usually, when you go into units that are decorator ready, the finishes and kitchens are nice but they are not even close to the luxury and quality you will see at Trump Hollywood.  The luxury finishes  are a step above of what you will see anywhere else, especially the kitchens.

Trump Hollywood is selling now between $400.00 and $500.00 a square foot as opposed to almost a $1000.00 a square foot in their earlier stages of selling.   A real bargain with all the premier services that Trump Hollywood has to offer their new residents.  I will be commenting on those services tomorrow so stay tuned everyone!

As a member of the Coral Ridge Homeowner’s Association in East Fort Lauderdale, we are very excited about our new signage on Bayview Drive in the Coral color(one of my favorite summer colors I might add)!  The association is working with the city to finalize the design of the street sign on our infamous Bayview Drive.  We would like to use that beautiful Coral color that is on the monument as you enter into Coral Ridge.  We also would like to include the beginning historical date of our Coral Ridge neighborhood.  In order to due this, the association had to contact our local Centennial Historian  who is Susan Gillis.  Susan had published a book named Ft. Lauderdale, The Venice of America and you can purchase copies at Barnes and Noble.  She has stated that the Coral Ridge neighborhood was established in 1946.  It was in 1946 that the developers of Coral Ridge-James Hunt, Joseph Taravella and Stephen Calder opened the Coral Ridge Development.  There have been a few other historians as well that have confirmed this date.

As part of  Fort Lauderdale’s centennial celebration, there is going to be a ceremony for the new plaque for George English Park describing the history of the park. This ceremony will take place at the September 8 board meeting in Coral Ridge. Hope to see everyone there!

Lock up your Rio Villas condo in Coral Ridge and go!  This is the best little condo development in Coral Ridge.  You only have 13 units in the building with a total of 4 floors including the garage.    I have unit 203 listed at $599k and it has a  private 2 car garage within the gated garage.  The ceiling heights are nine feet with eight foot doors so the units feel very spacious. Las Olas Beach Club is one of my favorite buildings in Fort Lauderdale.  It is located right on A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. What makes this building so wonderful is the location.  It is on the most narrow part of the barrier reef island so the views of the ocean and intracoastal are spectacular and panoramic.   The building is another Related Group project by Jorge Perez and is a modern masterpiece with artistic interiors designed by world-renowned Yabu Pushelberg.

If you are looking for the best family neighborhood as well as affordable in Fort Lauderdale, it would be Coral Ridge and Coral Ridge Country Club.  While Coral Ridge is mostly a single family home neighborhood, they also have beautiful townhomes and condos. The homes range anywhere from the $400,000 to $3,000,000 plus depending on if the home is waterfront or dry.

Coral Ridge is conveniently located between Sunrise Boulevard and Commercial Boulevard east of US1 and west of the Intracoastal waterway. It is also in the Bayview Elementary School district which is an A rated school and makes Coral Ridge the most desirable area for families.  Coral Ridge is walking distance to the Galleria Mall as well as other shopping and restaurants.

If you are looking for affordable waterfront, the Landings, which is located just north of Coral Ridge and east of US1 as well, is also a beautiful neighborhood. The Landings has deep water and also fixed bridges if you do not have a large boat.  It is an excellent choice for homeowners that want to be on the water but don’t want the high price tag.  Waterfront homes in the Landings are starting in the $700k range.
